About Veritys
A&D Veritys was established in 1974 by Alan and Daphne Verity and is run by Alan and his son Nigel.
Alan came to St Ives as manager of Hallens and started the business in 1973. Nigel joined him a few years later when he left school.
Commonly known as Veritys by regular customers, the family business thrives and offers a professional and friendly service.
Alan started off in the motorcycle trade in 1955 and has also taken part in grass track sidecar racing. He was ACU Scrutineer for road racing and Chief Scrutineer
for TT races, Moto GP and Superbike for 10 years.
Nigel also started in grass track solo racing at the age of 16 and then road racing at 21. he competed in Club, National and Intervational levels, winning at Newmarket Club
F1 Championships and 2nd in 1300cc production Championships, Manx GP, TT and Protwins British championships.
